Scanza is designed to work without an account. Here is a simple summary of what stays on your iPhone and which services are involved.

No account

Scanza does not require an email, password, sign-up or remote profile.

Family profiles, allergens, diet, preferences, history and favorites stay local.

To retrieve a product, Scanza sends the barcode, language and country. Alternative searches also send category and country.

They manage products, prices, purchases and restores. RevenueCat receives an anonymous installation identifier.

It is used only to read barcodes. Scanza does not save photos or record video.

Profiles, preferences, history and favorites can be deleted from the app settings.
